Each brief is respected individually, ensuring that our client’s vision is best served from concept through to completion. We work collaboratively with the expertise of trusted architects, builders, suppliers and artisans focusing on the details of the home, to create projects that are on-budget and on-brief.

Hi, I am Catherine, Founder and Creative Director of Portland & Projects Interior Design Studio.
I am a lover of beautifully refined and comfortable design, Design that enriches the world and has a lasting positive effect. My creative philosophy celebrates what makes a house a home; while honoring the integrity of the building and my client’s lifestyle and their personality. I create spaces that are timeless, carefully considered, and a joy to live in.
Along with my formal education in Interior Design, I have cultivated my skills through over 12 years of experience within the industry. I have the privilege of my design touch being included in homes across New Zealand, and more recently featuring in the Choice TV series, The Bach That JK Built.
However. I’m not here to woo you with too many words, that’s not why you’re here. You’re here for design, good interior design, and that’s my love language.
